Riza Durmisi (born January 8, 1994 in Ishøj ) is a Danish - Albanian football player . He is under contract with Lazio Rome in Serie A and is a Danish international .

Career

Durmisi whose Albanian family as guest workers from the SFR Yugoslavia and today's Macedonia had emigrated to Denmark, grew up in the Copenhagen suburb of Ishøj and stepped in his childhood Brøndby IF in. On August 26, 2012, at the age of 18, he made his professional debut in a 1-1 draw on the seventh matchday of the Superliga against Esbjerg fB . After four appearances in the 2012/13 season, he was transferred to the professional squad and finally made 32 appearances in the 2013/14 season. He scored his first professional goal on November 10, 2013 in a 3-0 win against Aarhus GF on matchday 15 . Brøndby IF qualified for the Europa League and was eliminated in the 2014/15 season in the third qualifying round against Club Brugge . Durmisi was used in both games and also played 28 times in the league, through which Brøndby IF again moved into the Europa League qualification. There they were eliminated in the play-offs against PAOK Thessaloniki ; Durmisi was used in seven out of eight games. In the league he was used in 29 games in the 2015/16 season.

In the summer of 2016 Durmisi moved to the Primera División at Betis Sevilla . On August 20, 2016, he made his debut for the Andalusians at 2: 6 on matchday one in the away game against FC Barcelona .

National team

Durmisi came to seven appearances for the Danish U16 national team . He took part with the U17 in the 2011 U17 European Championship in Serbia and was eliminated with the team in the semi-finals against Germany . At the U17 World Cup in Mexico in 2011 , he was eliminated with the Danish U17 after the group stage, where he was used in all three games.

Durmisi completed 15 appearances for the Danish U19 national team and played for the Danish U21 national team for the first time on September 6, 2013 in the 6-0 win in the European Championship qualifier against Andorra in Aalborg . He came in qualifying to five operations and was coached by Jess Thorup in the squad for the European Championship finals in the Czech Republic nominated.
