San Cristóbal (Minera) is a mining settlement in the Potosí department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
San Cristóbal (Minera) is a settlement that belongs to the San Cristóbal mine in the canton of San Cristóbal in the municipality of Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez . The village is located at an altitude of 3892 m about 50 kilometers south of the salt lake Salar de Uyuni on the edge of the Gran Pampa Pelada , a wide plain north of the Cordillera de Lípez .

San Cristóbal (Minera) is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental and the Cordillera de Lípez . The region's climate is semi-arid and characterized by a pronounced time-of-day climate.

From here to the mining settlement of San Cristóbal it is another nine kilometers.
