San Juan Pacollo is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

San Juan Pacollo is the largest town in the canton of Rosa Pata in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Chacarilla in the province of Gualberto Villarroel . The village is located at an altitude of 3779  m on the right, southern bank of the Río Desaguadero , which connects Lake Titicaca with Lake Poopó .

San Juan Pacollo is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east.
