The Sandbach is a left tributary of the Preßnitz in the Saxon Erzgebirgskreis , Germany .

course

The Sandbach has its source in the forest west of the Jöhstadt district of Grumbach . Shortly afterwards, in the direction of flow to the north, the road from Grumbach to Königswalde passes . In the upper reaches of the Sandbach numerous smaller streams flow in a forest area. After the Sandbach has left this forest area, it crosses under the road between Neugrumbach and Mildenau . Then the almost six kilometer long place Mildenau is passed in its entire length. Between Mildenau and Streckewalde , the Sandbach flows in a north-easterly direction parallel to the local connecting road running on the slope. The Sandbach flows past the Streckewalde district of Großrückerswalde in the east. Only the Brückenmühle and Höllenmühle houses in the Streckewald town hall are in the valley of the Sandbach. At the Höllenmühle in Streckewalde there is also the mouth of the Sandbach in the Preßnitz .
