Sandra Ahrens
Sandra Ahrens (born March 27, 1974 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( CDU ). In 2003 she became a member of the Bremen Parliament .
Life
Family, education and work
Ahrens graduated from the Horn School Center in Bremen in 1993 with a high school diploma. From 1993 to 1996 she studied at the University of Public Administration (HföV) and graduated with a degree in finance . Between 1996 and 1997 she worked at the tax office in Bremen-Mitte in the area of partnerships and in the area of tax-exempt non-profit corporations. From 1997 to 2003 she was employed in the special field of loss allocation companies at the tax office. Between 2003 and 2011 she was not allowed to work as a tax officer, as this was not allowed in the state of Bremen due to the incompatibility regulation. These rules have been repealed since 2011. She then worked as a tax officer in the legal remedies office of the Bremen-Mitte tax office until 2012, until she went on maternity leave and parental leave in 2012 before the birth of her second child.
Ahrens is married and has two children. She lives in Bremen- Obervieland .
politics
Ahrens has been a member of the CDU district association of Obervieland since 1998. Since 2002 she has been a member of the state executive committee of the Bremen CDU as an assessor. From 2002 to 2004 she was deputy state chairwoman of the Women's Union , then its state chairwoman. From 2002 to 2004 she was an assessor in the state board of the Christian Democratic Workers' Union in Germany (CDA) , from 2004 to 2012 she was state chairman and member of the federal board of the Women's Union. From 2007 to 2011 and again since 2015 Ahrens has been a member of the mayor's board (secretary).
Ahrens has been a member of Bremen's citizenship since July 7, 2003, when she replaced Eckhoff , who was elected to the Senate .
Ahrens was and is represented in the following bodies:
- State youth welfare committee and in the youth welfare committee
- Works committee of Kita Bremen
- Member of the Board of Trustees of the Bremen Children's and Youth Foundation
- Constitutional and Rules of Procedure committee
- State and Municipal Deputation for Education and Children
- Member of the foundation council of the Bremen Community Foundation
Public offices
- From 1998 to 2005 Ahrens was deputy state youth leader of the German Tax Union (DSTG) and a member of the German Association of Officials . From 1998 to 2001 she was deputy chair of the local branch and between 2001 and June 2004 chair of the local branch of the DSTG for the tax office in Bremen-Mitte.
- From 2003 to 2009 she was an assessor in the executive board of the Bremen Women's Committee / State Women's Council Bremen
- From 2004 to 2011 she was a member of the board of trustees of the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research .
- Since 2005 she has been a member of the financial holding company of Sparkasse Bremen .
