Sandra Dickinson (born October 20, 1948 in Washington, DC ) is an American actress , best known for her portrayal of Trillian in the television version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy .

Life

After graduating from high school in Bethesda , Sandra Dickinson studied acting at the universities of Wisconsin and Boston . She moved to England and in 1973 had her first role in the British science fiction - Comedy The Final programs . She then played guest roles in various television series.
