Sandra Koblmüller (born July 15, 1990 ) is an Austrian triathlete , trail runner and multiple national champion in cross triathlon (2013, 2014, 2015) and mountain marathon (2017).

Career

State champion and U23 vice-European cross-triathlon champion 2013

In June 2013, Sandra Koblmüller became Austrian state champion in cross triathlon and the Upper Austrian was able to successfully defend this success again in 2014 and 2015.
In the U23 class she became Vice-European Cross-Triathlon Champion in Strobl in September 2013.

In September 2015 she was twelfth at the ITU World Championships Cross Triathlon in Sardinia. In April 2016, she finished third in the first race of the European Xterra racing series in Malta.

Since 2016 she has also started in mountain running (trail running ) and in July she won the second edition of the Großglockner GlocknerTrail (50 km).

2017 World Trail Running Championships

The 26-year-old finished ninth in the trail running world championships in June 2017. In July she was able to successfully defend her success from the previous year on the Großglockner and win the race again with a new course record.

State champion mountain marathon 2017

In September she won the Stanzer Trailrun State Champion in the Trail Marathon.

She broke her shoulder in a fall on a mountain bike in July 2018, but started the TransRockies Run three weeks later and finished second in the three-day classification.

Sandra Koblmüller studied sport at the University of Salzburg and now lives in Salzburg.
