Sandra Maahn (born April 16, 1968 in Munich ) is a German news anchor and television presenter .

Life

Sandra Maahn attended school in Lüneburg and the grammar school in Hamburg-Steilshoop , where she was active as the state student representative for education and peace policy issues. She then volunteered at the Hamburg-based private radio station OK Radio and then switched to the newsroom at RTL II . After founding the private TV station Hamburg 1 , Maahn moderated the news there from 1995 to 1998 and the series of talks on guest at… . She then took over the moderation of Brigitte TV on ARD . From 1999 to 2008 she presented the daily NDR program DAS! (alternating with Bettina Tietjen and Inka Schneider ) as well as the programs coastal stories and horse stories . From autumn 2003 to 2009 she was also the ring announcer for the monthly Spotlight Boxing Galas, which were broadcast by Eurosport .

She moderates the programs Sportclub Live and Pferd TV on NDR television , and she also regularly presented the sports news on the news channel tagesschau24 .

In addition to her television work, she moderated the events of the “Lead Academy for Media Design and Media Marketing” in the Deichtorhallen , where the LeadAwards were awarded.

Sandra Maahn is the daughter of journalist Peter Maahn and a niece of German rock singer Wolf Maahn . She lives in Hamburg and is divorced from her first husband, the media entrepreneur Frank Otto , with whom she has two children.
