Sanja Vučić (born August 8, 1993 in Kruševac ) is a Serbian singer . She represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm .

Vučić joined the band ZAA in April 2012 as a singer , with whom she performed at various festivals in the Balkans. In March 2016 she was internally selected by the Serbian TV broadcaster RTS to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song Goodbye (Shelter) . She was able to qualify for the final in the second semi-final and reached an 18th place in the final.

She is a member of the girl group Hurricane, founded in 2017 . As part of this group, she won the Beovizija 2020 show on March 1, 2020 and would have represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. However, this was canceled on March 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

Personal

She currently lives in Belgrade , where she is studying Arabic languages ​​and literature at an institute. She speaks Serbian, English, Italian, Spanish and Arabic.
