Milan Stanković
Milan Stanković (born September 9, 1987 in Obrenovac , Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian singer .
Career
Stanković's career began in 2007 as a participant in the Serbian casting show Zvezde Granda , where he made it to the final and finished fourth. Thanks to his unusual styling and his lively manner, Stanković quickly attracted attention and won many fans. His 2009 debut album, Solo, sold more than 50,000 copies. The album Solo includes the singles Face , Nepopravljivo and the single Solo of the same name . In June 2011 the song Perje was released .
At the Serbian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo , 3 pa 1 za Oslo in Belgrade , Milan Stanković was awarded the title Ovo je Balkan (This is the Balkans), ahead of Emina Jahović and Oliver Katić feat. Jelena Marković , elected representative of Serbia. The song was written by Goran Bregović , the lyrics by Marina Tucaković . In the first semifinals of the European competition, Milan came fifth and was chosen as one of the top ten in the final. There he finished 13th.
On April 28 and 29, 2014, Stanković took part in the first Pink Music Festival with the song "Luda Ženo" , where he was awarded two prizes. Milan has been a member of the jury for the Pinkove Zvezdice casting show since September 19, 2014 . On March 3, 2015, Stanković released two new songs "Mašina" and "Nisi mu ti žena". Both songs were produced by the duo Damir Handanović and Marina Tucaković .
Private life
Milan grew up in Obrenovac. There he lived with his mother Milena and his younger half-sister Nastasija. After his mother divorced his stepfather, Stanković began training as a medical-technical assistant, which he completed in Belgrade. In 2008 Stanković moved to Belgrade with his mother and half-sister. From 2008 to 2012 Stanković was in a relationship with his colleague Radmila Manojlović , whom he met at Zvezde Granda . In January 2013 he announced that he broke up with her in December 2012 due to her affair.
