Nevena Božović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Невена Божовић ; born June 15, 1994 in Kosovska Mitrovica , Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian singer and composer .

life and career

Born and raised in Kosovska Mitrovica, Božović later moved to Belgrade, where he studied music at the Belgrade University of the Arts .

Her music career started in 2007 when she took part in the Serbian preliminary decision Izbor za dečju pesmu Evrovizije for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 . With the song Piši mi she was able to win this and represented Serbia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. With 120 points she reached 3rd place and thus the best result in the country in the competition to date. In 2009 she took part in the Sunčane Skale music festival with the song Ti .

In 2012 she took part in the Serbian edition of The Voice , where she finished in second place, behind Mirna Radulović . A year later she took part in the Serbian preliminary decision Beosong 2013 for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö , Sweden , together with Mirna Radulović and Sara Jovanović . As Moje 3 they were able to win the preliminary decision with their song Ljubav je svuda and represented Serbia at the ESC 2013. The group started in the first semi-final, but missed the final with six points and ended up in 11th place in the semi-finals. Immediately afterwards the group broke up and Božović released their new song Pogledaj me in July 2013 . Two years later, Božović was part of the Serbian jury at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 .

In 2019 her song Jasno mi je was nominated for a price at the Serbian Music Awards Ceremony (MAC) . She also took part in Beovizija 2019 and won it with her self-written song Kruna . This is the second time she has represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest , but for the first time as a solo singer.
