Bojana Stamenov ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бојана Стаменов ; born June 24, 1986 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian singer . She represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with her song Beauty Never Lies . With this title, she finished tenth.

Career

Bojana started singing from an early age, as she was always very nervous when she just had to play her instrument. She has a middle school degree in flute , guitar, and singing. In 2012 she took part in the Serbian version of the super talent Ja imam talenat and came fourth there. She is also known as the Serbian Aretha Franklin or Adele .

Eurovision Song Contest 2015

At the beginning of 2015, Bojana was invited by Vladimir Graić to take part in the Serbian preliminary decision Odbrojavanje za Beč for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Graić composed three songs for three different singers. On February 15th, she won the competition with a total of 6 points, which is the maximum possible number of points. She competed for Serbia with Beauty Never Lies in the first semi-finals, where she also qualified for the final. She was accompanied by four background singers. In the final she reached 10th place with 53 points.
