Sanne Chloe van Olphen (born March 13, 1989 in The Hague ) is a Dutch handball player .

Career

Sanne van Olphen played for Omni SV Hellas in the Netherlands. In 2011, the 1.71 meter tall back player moved to Denmark to Sønderjysk Elitesport , with whom she was promoted to the top Danish league in 2012. From the 2014/15 season she ran for the French first division team Toulon Saint-Cyr Var handball . In summer 2017 she joined the Danish club Viborg HK . After the 2017/18 season, she ended her career. In the 2019/20 season she makes her comeback for the French first division club Mérignac Handball .

Van Olphen played 89 caps for the Dutch national team , scoring 141 goals. She took part in the 2013 World Cup in Serbia . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships .
