Sansevieria burmanica is a species of plant in the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet burmanica refers to the occurrence in Burma, today's Myanmar .

description

Sansevieria burmanica grows without a trunk as a perennial , succulent plant with a 1.8 centimeter thick, underground rhizome . The 8 to 13 rosetted, upright, closed leaves are linear-lanceolate, flat-shaped or with a light, broad, angular groove on the top and a blunt keel on the underside. The simple leaf blade is 45 to 75 inches long and 1 to 3 inches wide. The leaves are grass green with paler bands and have up to three longitudinal stripes on the upper side and up to nine embossed lines on the underside. The tip of the leaf is sub rather narrowed, soft and 2.5 to 10 inches long. The leaf margin is green with age and also whitish. The leaf surface is smooth.

The single- eared inflorescences are up to 60 to 76 centimeters long. The panicles are loosely covered with two to five flowers per tuft. The bract is lanceolate and pointed and about 2 to 4 millimeters long. The bracts are greenish-white. The flower tube is 7.5 to 8.5 millimeters long. The tips are about up to 8.5 millimeters long.
