Sansevieria metallica is a species of plant in the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet metallica comes from Latin and stands for the metallic sheen of the leaves.

Sansevieria metallica grows without a trunk as a perennial , succulent plant with 2.5 to 4 centimeters thick, creeping, bright red rhizomes that turn pale brown in the light. The one to four upright leaves on a shoot are elongated lanceolate or broadly channel-shaped. The simple leaf blade is 45 to 152 inches long and 5 to 12.7 inches wide. The upper part is partially slightly bent back. The bottom 10 to 60 centimeters form a rutty stem. The dull, dark green spade tip is 3 to 6 millimeters long, soft and subpulate. The leaves are dull dark green. The top is indistinctly provided with irregular transverse bands. The underside is more clearly drawn. The soft spreading edge is green, later whitish or slightly reddish brown. The leaf surface is smooth.

The single- eared inflorescences are 45 to 122 centimeters high. They have a light green, brownish green, or dull purple stem. The panicles are loosely covered with two to four flowers per tuft. The bract is lanceolate and pointed and 6 to 13 millimeters long. The bracts are white. The flower tube is 1.2 to 1.7 inches long. The tips are 1.7 to 2.5 inches long.
