Sansevieria raffillii is a species of plant in the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet honors Charles P. Raffill (1876–1951).

description

Sansevieria raffillii growing stemless as a perennial , succulent plant with whitish approximately 2 to 5 cm thick rhizomes . The one or two leaves are upright and lanceolate or ribbon-shaped. The simple leaf blade is 68 to 152 inches long and 5.5 to 12.5 inches wide. It is narrowed from the base to seated below the middle or in a short stem. The spade tip is short and hard and colored reddish brown. The leaves are provided with yellowish green, closely spaced spots or irregular transverse bands on a darker background. Sometimes they are also clearly bluish glaucous and paler and also bluish on the underside. As they get older they are less clearly marked. The edge of the spread is hard and reddish brown. The leaf surface is smooth.

The single- eared inflorescences are 90 to 115 centimeters long. The panicles are densely covered with two to five flowers per cluster. The bracts are ovate-lanceolate, slightly pointed and 5 to 17 millimeters long. The flower stalk is 4 to 6 millimeters long. The bracts are greenish white. The flower tube is up to 3 centimeters long. The tips are 3 inches long.

Sansevieria raffillii is widespread in the shade of thickets in Kenya and Somalia .
