Sansevieria senegambica is a species of plant in the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet senegambica is derived from the Latin word senegambicus for ' Senegambia ', a traditional name for the area of ​​Senegal, Gambia, Guinea and Guinea-Bissau, and refers to the occurrence of the species there.

Sansevieria senegambica grows stemless as a perennial , succulent plant with 1.3 to 1.9 centimeters thick creeping and bright red rhizomes that quickly turn light brown in light. The two to four succulent and rosetted arranged, almost upright leaves are pointed backwards or spread out. The simple leaf blade is linear or linear-lanceolate with a length of 30 to 69 centimeters and a width of 3 to 6.4 centimeters. It is narrowed from the base in a 2.5 to 7.6 cm long, rutty stalk and gradually goes over from the center into a 4.2 to 12.7 mm long awl spider tip, which is narrowed and green. The upper side of the leaves is dark green, sometimes with indistinct transverse bands. The underside of the leaves is lighter with distinct transverse bands. The edge of the spread is green. The leaf surface is smooth.

The simple, spiked inflorescences are 30 to 50 centimeters high. The stem is light or dark green with purple spots. The panicles are loosely covered with three to six flowers per tuft. The ovate-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, pointed bract is 6.4 to 8.5 millimeters long and 2.1 to 3.2 millimeters wide. The flower stalk is up to 5.3 to 8.5 millimeters long. The hermaphrodite flowers are threefold. The bracts are white in the sun with a purple tinge. The flower tube is 0.64 to 1.9 inches long.
