Sara Svensk (* 1989 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish duathlete and triathlete . She is national duathlon champion (2016), on the triathlon middle distance (2015, 2018), Ironman winner (2019) and is included in the best list of triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

In 2015 and again in 2018 Sara Svensk became Swedish champion in the triathlon middle distance.

In June 2018 she was third at the Ironman 70.3 European Championships as part of the Ironman 70.3 Kronberg-Elsinore .

In October 2019 Sara Svensk won the race in the Ironman Barcelona (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) after 8:34:10 h with a new course record, the ninth fastest time of a woman on the Ironman - Set distance and a new Swedish national record.
