Saugraben is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Hainfeld in the Lilienfeld district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 92 building areas with 46,206 m² and 79 gardens on 217,243 m² in the cadastral community of Saugraben , in 1989/1990 there were 88 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 362 and in 2009/2010 there were 228 buildings on 373 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 630 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 723 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 565 hectares and 775 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 574 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 756 hectares. The average soil climate of Saugraben is 26.6 (as of 2010).
