action
Mary attends a Christian high school with her best friend Hilary Faye, boyfriend Dean, and Hilary Faye's brother Roland, who is in a wheelchair. When Mary learns that Dean is gay, she tries everything to convert him, and ultimately sacrifices her virginity for it. When Dean's parents find a gay magazine in his room, they send him to a Christian school where he is supposed to be converted.
A little later, Mary discovers that she is pregnant, but cannot confide in anyone. By chance, however, the outsider Cassandra, the only Jewish woman at the school, and Roland, who has fallen in love with Cassandra, learn of Mary's pregnancy and help her. Mary moves more and more away from Hilary Faye and the strictly religious school community.
Hilary Faye does everything possible to win Mary back, and even tries an exorcism on her. When she realizes that her overzealous efforts are unsuccessful, and since the relationship between Cassandra and Roland is a thorn in her side, Hilary Faye defaces the entrance to the school with graffiti and blames Mary, Cassandra and Roland for the deed. Cassandra is expelled from school and Mary's pregnancy is revealed. As a consequence, Mary should be sent to the same home where Dean is staying.
However, Cassandra and Roland manage to uncover Hilary Faye's intrigue. At the prom, Dean suddenly shows up with his new boyfriend. The two left the home to lead a life of their own accord. When Mary suddenly goes into labor, she is taken to the hospital where she gives birth to a daughter. Dean is happy about his child, and Mary finds a new friend in the pastor's son Patrick.
