people

Mei Tachibana ( 橘 め い , Tachibana Mei )
Mei is a helpful and honest, but suspicious person. After being wrongly accused of an accident by her classmates, she decided not to trust anyone anymore, believing that friends would only take advantage of her. Because of her withdrawn demeanor, most people describe her as weird and somber, and someone who speaks little. However, her self-perception changes when she meets Yamato.
Yamato Kurosawa ( 黒 沢 大 和 , Kurosawa Yamato )
Yamato is one of the school's most popular students. When he meets Mei for the first time, she kicks him because one of his friends is pulling her skirt and she thinks he is the culprit. But he gives her his cell phone number. When Mei is followed by a stalker, she calls Yamato, who then kisses her in his presence. This is how the stalker lets go of Mei. Over time, Yamato begins to become more interested in Mei, so they start dating. Asami describes him as a person who thinks of others more than himself, who protects and looks after others and likes to take care of others, although he also has to struggle with his own problems.
Asami Oikawa ( 及 川 あ さ み , Oikawa Asami )
Asami is one of Mei's classmates and future friends who have complexes because of her large breasts . She hates it when other people stare at or (seemingly) reduce her bust size. She adores Yamato, who protects her from other boys who tease her. She also wants a dream prince who can always protect her. She later dates Takeshi, who over time loves her person and not her bust.
Takeshi Nakanishi ( 中西 健 志 , Nakanishi Takeshi )
Takeshi is Mei's classmate and Yamato's friend. He falls in love with Asami and later gets together with her.
Aiko Mutō ( 武 藤 愛 子 , Mutō Aiko )
Aiko is a classmate of Yamato and Mei. She is bold and has a loose mouth, but also a friendly and nice side. She and Yamato had their first time together, which is why she is jealous of Mei at the beginning. She has loved Yamato ever since, as he pointed her out to her true beauty, which made her more confident. Since then, she has lost 20 kg in the hope that Yamato will become her boyfriend. She has stretch marks from her rapid weight loss , which she is ashamed of. When Mei stands up for her, she begins to accept Mei as a friend and supports her over time. She later dates Masashi.
Masashi Tachikawa ( 立 川 雅 司 , Tachikawa Masashi )
Masashi later becomes Aiko's friend, who takes her for who she is and can therefore make her happier and more satisfied. He liked her too when she was chubby.
Kakeru Hayakawa ( 早川 駆 流 , Hayakawa Kakeru )
Kakeru is a classmate of Yamato and Mei and has slept with many women with the aim of being as "popular" as Yamato. However, Chiharu, his childhood friend, is one of the few who treat him with respect. When his attempt to seduce Mei to cheat fails, he realizes how much Chiharu respects, since he stands by him. Realizing that he can reciprocate her feelings, he starts dating her.
Chiharu Ogawa ( 小川 千 晴 , Ogawa Chiharu )
She is Kakeru's childhood friend and knows who he really is and therefore tries to help him in all situations. She is secretly in love with him, which he only realizes much later, but then reciprocates these feelings. She also works with Mei in the Bakery Farm.
Megumi Kitagawa ( 北 川 め ぐ み , Kitagawa Megumi )
Megumi is an amateur - Model of Yamato Class, although often does friendly but tried to dissuade Mei from her friends to Yamato to win over. In her childhood she was referred to as "ugly" and "nondescript". When she realizes how much she is valued by some people, she gives them gifts. She finds real friends in her childhood friends, Momo and Asami. She also begins to ignore what others are saying about her and tries to be herself and find her own style.
Kai Takemura ( 竹村 海 , Takemura Kai )
Kai is a friend of Yamato's who was bullied. As he retired and his grades got worse, he decided to repeat the first year of high school in his hometown and is thus a class under Yamato and Mei, even though he is the same age. In the meantime he has become braver and better at school and also stronger than he needs to be. He feels connected to Mei as both of them have been bullied in life. He is also a regular customer at the Bakery Farm, where Mei works next to the school, and loves the “Land” theme park. Although he is a little in love with Mei, he respects the fact that she is in a relationship with Yamato and protects them both.
Nagi Kurosawa ( 黒 沢 凪 , Kurosawa Nagi )
Nagi is Yamato's younger sister. She is good at baking sweets and sewing soft toys. When Yamato introduces her to Mei, she doesn't like her at first because she had the feeling that she was stealing her brother from her. After spending time with Mei, she realizes that they have a lot in common: They both had many friends until they realized that they had turned against her. When she begins to accept Mei, she teaches her to bake sweets so that one day she can do it for Yamato too.
