The Schönfeldhütte is an Alpine Club hut of the Munich section of the German Alpine Club .
The 2nd category shelter is located in the Schlierseer Mountains in the Mangfall Mountains ( Bavarian Prealps ) between the Spitzingsee and the Aiplspitz .
Ascent
- From Spitzingsee roughly along the Taubensteinbahn lift ; Walking time 1½ hours
- From the Spitzingsattel along the slopes of the Jägerkamp ; Walking time 1 hour
- From the Taubensteinbahn mountain station; Walking time descent ½ hour
The climbs are quite easy and therefore also suitable for families with small children.
