School holiday ticket

A student holiday ticket (also student-holiday ticket or student holiday ticket ) is a ticket that is usually beyond the period of the summer holidays in a German state - partly also beyond its borders - for the local and regional transport is valid. Authorized holders of this ticket are schoolchildren , proof by means of a schoolchildren's ID is required. Some of the tickets are only valid for students from the respective federal state.

Among young people, the school holiday ticket, especially in the 80s and 90s, was often simply referred to as Schüfeti for short .
