Schellen (short form: Schell) is a card color in the German paper , which represents a classical sound body, the Schelle , as it is shown today by Hästrägern in the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival .

It corresponds to diamonds in the French hand. It is the lowest playing color in Skat , Schafkopf and Doppelkopf , but the second highest in Préférence .

Bells 7, in South Tyrol the 6 bells ( Belle, Weli ) is the second highest trump card in Watten .
