The Schindelberg ( 805 m ) is a summit in the Bavarian Alpine foothills .
topography
Apart from a nameless elevation with 805 m nearby, it forms the highest point of the Zeller Forest between Dietramszell and the Ellbach and Kirchseemoor with the Kirchsee . Despite its low absolute height, it dominates almost 10 km to the nearest higher mountain, the Sulzkopf , which is already part of the Bavarian Prealps .
It is also the highest moraine elevation in the Alpine foothills east of the Ammer. It also houses many boulders as a natural monument.
