The Schleibach (also Schleibek , Danish Slibæk ) is a watercourse in the northern part of Schwansen in northeastern Schleswig-Holstein (Südschleswig) near the village of Olpenitz . The Schleibach rises near the town of Brodersby , passes the Köh (Danish Kølen ) forest , Weidemark and finally flows into the Baltic Sea near Schleimünde near Olpenitz . In the course of the development of the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz, the Schleibach was designed to be close to nature. Among other things, it is characterized by steep embankments . In the 19th century the brook flowed directly into the Schlei (Olpenitzer Noor), which explains the name.

In the 19th century the brook still flowed into the Schlei (Olpenitzer Noor / Olpenæs Nor)
