The Castle Crollage is a built in the 14th century manor in Prussian Oldendorf in the Minden-Lübbecke . It is around 1.5 km south of the town of Bad Holzhausen in the valley of the Große Aue on the north side of the Wiehengebirge .

history

Crollage Castle was first mentioned as a manor in 1350. It was a fiefdom of the Herford monastery . The first owner was the knight Bertold von Haren . At the beginning of the 16th century, the von Langen family had the castle built in the Weser Renaissance style instead of the manor buildings. From 1623 it was owned by the von Ledebur family , who sold it to the farmer H. Rafflenbeul in 1968. In 1868 Luise von Bodelschwingh was born at Crollage Castle .

Todays use

The estate is still used for agriculture today (see Gut Renkhausen ). The former estate park can still be seen.

The Minden-Lübbecke district organizes chamber concerts in the palace garden in cooperation with the Herrenhäuser Association and their parks in the mill district to promote art and culture.
