Osterzell Castle is a listed building in Osterzell in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu . Today it is used as a rectory.

history

A previous building was built in the 16th century under Burkhard II von Kaltental , the owner of the Osterzell estate. From 1699 to the secularization of 1803, the rulership was owned by the Rottenbuch canon monastery , which had the castle built around 1720 and soon used it as a parsonage.

Building description

The three-story hipped roof building was built in 1720 using older parts. The parish church dates from the 18th century. Rebuilds took place in 1977.
