The Schlossbach is a left tributary of the Inn in Tyrol , which flows into Zirl . It rises below the Reither Spitze in the municipality of Reith bei Seefeld and flows in a north-south direction. After about 1.5 km it takes the Grieskarbach coming from the left. In its upper reaches is the Schlossbachklamm (location: 47 ° 17 ′ 49.4 ″  N , 11 ° 14 ′ 19.6 ″  E ). This is spanned at a height of around 60 m by the Schlossbachbrücke of the Mittenwaldbahn , a 66 m long arched truss bridge made of steel, which is a popular photo motif.

After exiting the narrow gorge into the Inn Valley, the Schlossbach flows through the center of Zirl and flows southwest of it into the Inn. Together with the Ehnbach , which runs further east, it has pushed the Inn to the south and heaped an alluvial cone on which Zirl lies.
