The Castle Church in Eichtersheim , a district of the municipality of Angelbachtal in the Rhein-Neckar district in northern Baden-Württemberg , was built 1,782th The building is a protected monument .

History and description

The castle church is opposite the castle , it was built by Carl Philipp von Venningen (1728–1797) and Maria Anna von Hutten zu Stolzenberg († 1781). In it is the family crypt of the Lords of Venningen .

The former Catholic church, originally the Hl. Kreuz and St. Gallus ordained , built in the style of Baroque built. The plastered building is structured with pilaster strips made of yellow sandstone reed . Above the splendid portal , marked 1782, is a cartouche with the alliance coat of arms of the builders. On the gable roof sits a turret with a French hood .

Todays use

The artist Jürgen Goertz converted the profaned castle church into his studio.
