Schwarzenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Opponitz in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 94 building areas with 18,443 m² and 34 gardens on 257,671 m² in the cadastral community of Schwarzenbach, in 1989/1990 there were also 94 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 106 and in 2009/2010 there were 77 buildings on 84 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is shaped by both agriculture and forestry. 388 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 390 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 324 hectares and 463 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 309 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 463 hectares. Schwarzenbach's average soil climate number is 18.1 (as of 2010).
