Schweinsteg ( Italian Passo ) is a fraction of St. Leonhard in Passeier ( South Tyrol ) and is inhabited by around 100 people. The small town has a church and a meeting room, both buildings are actively used.

Schweinsteg is located on the orographic left , eastern side of the valley of Passeier , a little higher than Saltaus and the Quellenhof on the other side of the Passer . Behind Schweinsteg the Hirzer massif builds up .

Schweinsteg owns a club house that is used for parties and elections. Christmas and Mardi Gras celebrations traditionally take place there.
The parish church in Schweinsteg is consecrated to St. Ursula. The church, already mentioned in 1532, was destroyed by fire in 1885, then rebuilt and consecrated in 1901. It is equipped with a tower with a bell.
