Scott Fraser (born March 30, 1995 in Dundee ) is a Scottish football player .

Career

Scott Fraser was born in the port city of Dundee in March 1995. He began his football career at Longforgan Boys Club from around 8 km to the west of his native town located village of Longforgan . A student at Menzieshill High School, Fraser joined Dundee United in 2005 . At the age of 16, he signed his first professional contract in 2011. During the preparation with the first team for the new 2011/12 season, he broke his leg and was injured for a long time. Upon his return, Fraser played one season in the Tangerines U-20 . In April 2014 he extended his contract to June 2016. In May of that year Fraser made his debut for United against Celtic Glasgow at Paradise . It was the last day of the 2013/14 season when manager Jackie McNamara came on for John Rankin . In October 2014, 19-year-old Fraser was loaned out to Scottish third division club Airdrieonians FC for the entire 2014/15 season . For this he completed 28 league games and was able to score five goals. In the 2015/16 season , Fraser was back in the professional squad of United . On matchday two against FC Motherwell he was in the starting line-up for the first time.
