Scott Michael Foster

Scott Michael Foster (born March 4, 1985 in Winfield , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

Foster was born in Winfield, Illinois at Central DuPage Hospital. He is the only boy in the family and has two sisters. When he was younger, he moved to Texas and grew up in Highland Village , a suburb of Dallas . Even in elementary school, he was interested in acting. He then went to Briarhill Middle School and later attended Edward S. Marcus High School, where he studied drama until graduation. In his first year he starred in Father of the Bride . Then he attended Collin College for a semester, where he focused on acting. However, he soon dropped out of college to pursue a professional career.

Foster plays guitar and is the lead singer for the indie rock group Siren's Eye . So far they have three songs for download on their MySpace page and are working on an EP.

Acting career

Foster moved to Los Angeles, California, where he took on background work whenever he could. A representative from the same agency that Jerry Seinfeld was representing joined Foster's acting class and signed him six months later. He made commercials and had speaking roles. He also starred in smaller films like Forever Charlie . Foster got involved in a film project called Quarterlife , in which he took on the role of Jed before getting a bigger role on the television series Greek .
