Scott Shepherd

Scott Shepherd (in Raleigh , North Carolina ) is an American actor .

Life

Shepherd was born in Raleigh , North Carolina , in the late 1960s . He appeared several times with the theater group The Wooster Group , including in 1994 in a more than two-hour production of Macbeth , in which Shepherd spoke all roles. In 2011 he received an Obie Award for best performance for his role in the play Gatz .

After several small supporting roles in films like Side Effects , That Borders on Love or The Collected Embarrassments of Our Parents in the order of their premiere , Shepherd was seen in Steven Spielberg's film Bridge of Spies in 2015 as CIA Agent Hoffman . This was followed by roles in the series The Young Pope , Elementary and the third season of True Detective . In 2019, Shepherd took on the role of Casey in the Netflix movie El Camino: A "Breaking Bad" movie .
