Sean Downs (born February 6, 1967 ) is a retired American darts player .
Career
Sean Downs took part in the BDO World Championship in 1993 , where he was eliminated in round 1 against the Canadian Albert Anstey . The change to the newly founded World Darts Council (later: Professional Darts Corporation) followed. There he took part in a total of five world championships of the association , but could never reach the next round.
At the 1996 World Matchplay he was able to advance to the quarterfinals after victories over Keith Deller and Cliff Lazarenko , where he had to admit defeat to Peter Evison .
