Sean Patrick Saßmannshausen

Sean Patrick Saßmannshausen (born June 7, 1971 in Wexford , Ireland ) is a German economist.

Life

Born in Ireland and raised in Rhineland-Palatinate , Saßmannshausen attended Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern . After graduating from high school, he went to the tank reconnaissance force as a reserve officer candidate for two years . He then studied business administration at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . In 1995 he was reciprocated in the Corps Saxonia Jena . As a business graduate ( intercultural management ) he went to the Max Planck Institute for Economics in Jena. Funded by the Erasmus program , he ran "Scandinavian Area Studies" at the University of Odense . He studied at the Harvard Business School , the University of Colorado System , the University of St. Gallen and the Warsaw School of Economics . He was involved in the federal government's EXIST (funding program) . He worked on his doctoral thesis and habilitation thesis at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . From their Schumpeter School of Business and Economics, he was summa cum laude for Dr. rer. oec. PhD. He was a guest lecturer at the RISEBA University for Economics, Art and Technology , the University for Continuing Education Krems and at the Collegium Polonicum . He held a visiting professor at the University of Aarhus , a teaching position and a substitute professor at the University of Siegen . He is currently Professor of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship at the Ostbayerischen Technische Hochschule Regensburg . Together with Hermann Butzer , Andreas Kaiser and Johannes Thome , he sits on the advisory board of the Foundation for Old Corps Students .
