Sebastian Francis Shah OFM (born November 14, 1957 in Padri-Jo-Goth , Pakistan ) is Archbishop of Lahore .

Life

Sebastian Francis Shah entered the religious order of the Franciscans and received on 6 December 1991, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 14, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Tinum and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Lahore . The Archbishop of Lahore, Lawrence John Saldanha , ordained him episcopal on April 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Faisalabad , Joseph Coutts , and the Bishop of Hyderabad in Pakistan , Max John Rodrigues .

On November 14, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Lahore, after he had previously administered the Archdiocese as Apostolic Administrator during the Sedis vacancy .

On July 8, 2019, the Pope appointed him a member of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life for five years .
