Sebastian Hämer

Sebastian Hämer (born March 17, 1979 in Rostock ) is a German singer .

Life

Sebastian Hämer grew up in Prerow on the Baltic Sea. The trained hotel clerk began his musical career as the front man of the party band Turn up . Sebastian Hämer became known for the first time through his participation in the ZDF singing competition The German Voice in 2003 . The debut single Summer of Our Life , as well as the entire first album The Flying Man , was produced by the 3p label . The single rose to number 9 in the German single charts.

On October 1st, 2010 Hämer took part with the song Is' already ok for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2010 initiated by Stefan Raab in the federal capital Berlin and finished 10th with 22 points.

With the single Steig mit ins Boot , Hämer supports the Rostock children's aid organization Frogs for Future. The message of the song is that everyone can only work together to ensure that children in need can play supervised sports. He took part in the second season of the singing casting show The Voice of Germany , which was broadcast in the fall of 2012 , but left before the live show phase.
