Sebastian Mützel (born August 6, 1989 in Bad Tölz ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Mützel, who is used as a striker or in midfield, played in the youth of TSV 1860 Rosenheim until 2005 and then moved to SpVgg Unterhaching . With the A-youth of the SpVgg he rose in 2008 to the A-Juniors-Bundesliga . Then he was taken over into the squad of the second team of SpVgg, for which he initially played nine games in the Regionalliga Süd , in which he scored two goals. On the 13th matchday of the third division he was in the first team's squad and was substituted on for Thorsten Schulz in the 82nd minute in the game against Kickers Offenbach . In the 2009/10 season Mützel came to eleven inserts in the 3rd division, in which he marked a goal in the game against Holstein Kiel . In the 2010/11 season Mützel ran three times for the first team of the Hachinger and remained without a hit. He played a total of 28 times in the Bayern League for the second team of SpVgg Unterhaching.
Before the 2011/12 season he moved to the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg , where he signed a one-year contract and made his debut on August 14, 2011 in the game against the second team of Karlsruher SC , when he was substituted on in the 63rd minute of the game . For the 2012/13 season , Mützel moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . After two seasons he joined the league club Westfalia Herne . At the same time he began studying physiotherapy in Bochum . After Herne's relegation from the Oberliga 2014/15 , Mützel moved to SV Zweckel , but returned to Westfalia Herne after half a year. With the team, he rose back to the league in 2017. For the 2018/19 season, Mützel switched to Rot Weiss Ahlen .
