Sebastian Unger (writer)

Sebastian Unger (born April 6, 1978 in Berlin ) is a German writer .

Life

Sebastian Unger studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig , later cultural studies at the European University Viadrina and German as a foreign language . Since then he has published in anthologies and magazines. In 2011 he won the poetry award at the 19th Open Mike . In 2018, his volume of poetry, The Animals Don't Know Yet , was published, which was honored with the Düsseldorf Poetry Debut Prize and the Frankfurt Poetry Prize. Unger teaches at Tongji University in Shanghai .
