Sebastian Wimmer (* 1983 in Schladming , Styria ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Sebastian Wimmer worked as a teenager at the Salzburg Festival , where he was part of the household in Christian Stückl's production of Jedermann in 1999 . He then studied media management with semesters abroad in Madrid and Houston and completed his university degree as “Mag. (FH) ". From 2011 he took singing lessons and attended seminars in the areas of voice training and acting (Alexander Technique, Method Acting) in Vienna and Los Angeles .

In March 2011 he performed at the Burgtheater Vienna a . a. alongside Mavie Hörbiger , Petra Morzé and Pablo-Miguel Konrad y Ruopp in the theater project “Castle Portraits” by Michael Laub (based on an idea by Tom Stromberg).

He played in various short films, advertising and image films and in several TV productions. In the low-budget fantasy film Grimm's Snow White (2011), he had one of the leading roles as "Hawthorn".

In December 2016 Wimmer was seen in an episode role in the Austrian crime series SOKO Donau ; he played the suspect Dr. Schwarz, who wanted to get a coveted senior physician position . In May 2017, Simmer was also seen in an episode role in the Austrian crime series SOKO Kitzbühel ; he was Bertram Regensburg, the husband of a YouTuberin who was seriously injured in an accident and suspected .

His hobbies include a. Skiing and snowboarding . At times he also worked as a ski instructor in his home country . Wimmer lives in Salzburg and Vienna.
