Sedat Yücel (born January 28, 1987 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Youth to time in Turkey

In his youth Yücel played at OT Bremen and later until 2006 in the U-19 of Werder Bremen . Then he moved within Bremen to FC Oberneuland in the then fourth-class Oberliga Nord . With this team he went to the Regionalliga Nord for the 2008/09 season . In this season Yücel managed his team to the second round of the DFB Cup . After this season he left Bremen for Turkey and joined Adana Demirspor . In the 2009/10 season he was in the third Turkish division , for the first time on August 30, 2009 in the qualifying round of Group 4 in the 4-2 victory over Şanlıurfaspor. In that game he was substituted on for Aydin Tabak in the 72nd minute . Within the following round of relegation, he was able to qualify with his team for the play-offs. With a 3: 5 i. E. Losing to Tavşanlı Linyitspor was over after the quarter-finals. This was his last game for the club.

Back in Germany

After a season in Turkey, Yücel returned to Oberneuland in early 2011. In addition to two games for the second team, he was there for the rest of the season eleven times in the regional league. After relegation to the fifth-class Bremen league , he was used in almost all games of the 2011/12 season as well as in a game for the second team in the state league . In the end, Yücel was able to celebrate the championship and the return to the regional league with his team. For the next season he moved to the neighboring district of Verden to TB Uphusen in the Oberliga Niedersachsen . In the Lower Saxony Cup he reached the quarter-finals with his team this season , but failed there at BSV Rehden with 1: 4. From the next season , Yücel was partly on the field as captain. For the 2016/17 season he went back to Bremen and joined the BSC Hastedt , which was playing in the Bremen State League at the time. For the next season he was promoted to the Bremen League. In the 2017/18 season , Yücel positioned himself with his team as captain in third place. After a cruciate ligament tear, it has been used every now and then after a long break since the end of October 2019.
