The BSC Hastedt (officially: Bremer Sportclub Hastedt eV ) is a football club from the Bremen district of Hastedt . The first team rose to the fifth-class Bremen league in 2017 .
history
The club was created in 2008 through the merger of the football departments of the Hastedter TSV and the Post SV Bremen . The most successful home club was the Hastedter TSV, which played in the then first-class Gauliga Weser-Ems in the 1944/45 season and in the top amateur league in Bremen for four years after the Second World War . In 1971 , the Hastedter took part in the German amateur championship , but failed in the first round at FSV Frankfurt . A year later, TSV won the Bremen Cup after a 4-1 final victory over OT Bremen . The Post SV Bremen, however, only played at the local level.
In the year of the merger, the Hastedter TSV was relegated to the district league A, where the BSC Hastedt now had to start. Two years later, he was promoted to the district league. There the Hastedter initially played against relegation, in 2013 Hagen Kelber took over the management of the football department. After that, the first men's team reached 5th place twice in the Bremen district league and in the 2015/16 season the championship combined with promotion to the Bremen regional league. In the 2016/17 season, the team achieved direct promotion to the fifth-class Bremen league.
Qualification for the final of the Bremen State Cup was achieved for the first time in the 2017/18 season . Hastedt defeated Blumenthaler SV 3-0 and took part in the first round of the DFB Cup . There the team lost 1:11 against the Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach .
