Seekarspitze and Seebergspitze (right) |
The Seekarspitze is 2053 m above sea level. A. high mountain on the west bank of the Achensee . It is located on the eastern edge of the Karwendel in Tyrol . The summit can be reached with an easy , but sure- footed mountain tour from Achenkirch (district Scholastika ( 934 m above sea level )) via the Seekaralm ( 1500 m above sea level ). For sure-footed hikers there is the possibility of a ridge crossing to the neighboring, somewhat higher Seebergspitze ( 2085 m above sea level ) and from there the possibility to descend to Pertisau . The saddle between the Seekarspitze and Seebergspitze is around 1900 m above sea level. A. From the saddle there is also a path down to the Pasillalm on the western flank of the massif and from there a forest path to the Seekaralm.
Both at the Seebergspitze and the Seekarspitze, the north flank is steeper than the south flank. Mountaineers who plan to traverse the massif along the ridge and overcome steeper passages, preferably uphill, are recommended to take the ridge hike from Achenkirch over the Seekarspitze and Seebergspitze to Pertisau, i.e. from north to south.
