geography

course

The stream rises as Tuetenseebächli at Rossmoos farm at about 852  m above sea level. M. at the edge of the forest to the Äbnetwald northwest of Wolhusen . It initially flows northeast and shortly thereafter takes on a left source stream. After the Kleinschwand farm, it briefly flows through the forest, where it overcomes a 40-meter-high waterfall and takes in two more spring streams. It flows openly through the hamlet of Tuetisee and now mostly crosses farmland. After the hamlet, he turns to the northwest, crosses under Hauptstrasse 2 and follows the tracks of the Lucerne S-Bahn . At the Ladesagi corridor , he picks up the Seewag brook , which flows out of the Tuetisee . In doing so, it reaches the bottom of the valley and is now also called Seewag.

The stream reaches Menznau and passes under the train station. It passes the premises of the Kronospan industrial company and shortly afterwards the hamlet of Daiwil in the east. Here it flows briefly to the north-northwest and directly follows the railroad tracks. It takes up the Riedtalbach and turns shortly to the north-northeast near Ischlagmatt , then in an arc to the north-west to take up the Rot . It touches the industrial area and a small residential area in the eastern part of Willisau and then flows further north.

After the Seewag has passed the swimming pool, it flows into the Wydenmühle at 544  m above sea level. M. from the right into the Wigger.
