Selina Maria Boveleth (born March 31, 1999 in Neuss ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Boveleth began her career at SV Rosellen and played thereafter until 2012 for the D-juniors from Bayer 04 Leverkusen . After a one-year stopover at FC Wegberg-Beeck , she returned to Leverkusen in 2013 and from then on competed for the B-Juniors in the Bundesliga West / Southwest . Most recently she was the captain of her team in the first half of the 2015/16 season before joining the second division MSV Duisburg in January 2016 . She celebrated her second division debut on February 14, 2016 (12th match day) in the 4-0 away win for Duisburg against SV Meppen , when she came in for Lee Sima Falkon in the 79th minute . At the end of the season she rose with the team as champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North in the Bundesliga. In the 2016/17 season she was still a member of the first team, but was only used once in the Bundesliga : On May 21, 2017 (22nd matchday), she was defeated 2-1 by 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam came on in the 58th minute for Danica Wu . After the 2016/17 season she moved to the USA, where she received a scholarship for Limestone College in North Carolina , but will be part of Duisburg's extended squad during the semester break there.
