Reservoirs flowed through Lac de Maury

The Selvet is a river in France that runs in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Fayt in the Aubrac countryside in the municipality of La Terrisse . After crossing a small reservoir, it changes its name to Petit Selvet and shortly thereafter also loses the addition of Petit . It generally drains in a south-westerly direction and, after around 26 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Amans-des-Cots, flows into its own Lac de Maury reservoir as a right tributary into the Selves , which in turn is dammed up to Lac de la Selves . Both lakes have the Barrage de la Selves as a common dam .
