David Martínez De Aguirre Guinea OP (born January 10, 1970 in Vitoria-Gasteiz , Autonomous Community of Basque Country , Spain ) is Vicar Apostolic of Puerto Maldonado .
Life
David Martínez De Aguirre Guinea joined the religious order of the Dominicans in and put on 18 September 1993, the perpetual profession from. He received on 11 December 1999, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On July 8, 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Izirzada and ordered him to Koadjutorvikar of Puerto Maldonado. The Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , Archbishop James Patrick Green , donated him episcopal ordination on October 11 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Puerto Maldonado, Francisco González Hernández OP, and the Vicar Apostolic of San Ramón , Gerardo Antonio Zerdín Bukovec OFM .
On June 23, 2015, David Martínez De Aguirre Guinea succeeded Francisco González Hernández OP, who resigned for health reasons, as Vicar Apostolic of Puerto Maldonado.
