Aplinar Senapati
Aplinar Senapati CM (born October 28, 1960 in Surada , India ) is an Indian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Rayagada .
Life
Aplinar Senapati joined the religious order of the Lazarists and received the sacrament of priestly ordination on November 28, 1990 .
On April 11, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him first bishop of the Rayagada diocese, which was established on the same date . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in India, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio , on May 28 of the same year. Co- consecrator was the Archbishop of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar , John Barwa SVD .
